Anyone else think these need the biggest nurf of our lifetime? i hate touch rangers because even the noobiest people can play them and kill an experienced wammo with ease...

touch rangers consist of three skills, vamp touch, vamp bite, and offering of blood, with an occasional whirling defence or dodge, but my point is, vamp touch and vamp bite, despite the 15 energy cost, are WAY TOO spammable for a ranger with 16 expertise (reducing skill cost to 5 energy)...i think touchers should be nurfed by increasing the skill recharge time of vamp touch and bite to equal that of vamp gaze, thus leaving a toucher defenceless until his skill recharges 20 seconds later.

There's my rant. As to the actual subject of touchers and the potential "nerf"...

By the way, a lot of things can kill a "wammo" with ease. Care to suggest A-Net nerf the entire game?

Thats the whole point, touchers are a good way of telling those annoying wammos where to shove those swords heh heh heh.

Stop crying! Why don't u try finding the very easy counter build of N/Me or Me/N instead of crying for a nerf....thats how u spell it, not nurf.

I bet ur angry cause ur a warrior and ur too noob to play anyother kind of build, so when the toucher (PERFECTLY FAIR BUILD) kills u, u start crying cause something can own a wammo. Let me tell u one last thing, ANYONE and I mean ANYONE AND KILL A WAMMO!!!!!

I forgot say somethings:

1) to be a a 100% real toucher u need the elite skill offering of blood, I don't think a noob could get that, so real touchers are not noobs, just very clever.

2) I don't love touchers, I have one but he's not my fav, my fav is my A/E shock assassin, far better than a shock warrior

3) I don't hate warriors, Ive just started one, what I hate are Wammos.

They are annoying, mainly 'cause everyone plays them now. 90% of them are complete asshats who taunt you about how they "pwn'd" you with thier 3 skills. In addition there's also the fact that an inexperienced touch ranger can take down many exp players with just a couple skills and no pvp "skill"

Anything that enables that could probably use some balance (not nerf). And before you say something like "Cry about it" or "Do something about it" let me respond and say "I dont" and "I have" I made a mesmer just for them and I have to tell you, its perversely satisfying every time a touch ranger goes down.

OoB is actually a mindlessly simple Cap - You don't even have to do any "hard" missions to get to it (any missions for that matter) and its at the start of a map..

If you are trolling, grats, you've succeeded. If not, I just felt some weird need to point out that there is no such thing as an experienced wammo. Maybe an experienced wa/mo... but never a wammo. I sure do hope you don't go around calling yourself that.

I do hate it how everyone is a toucher, but I have nothing against the build at all. Personally I hate R/A assassin more, they can never beat an assassin master like me.

I actually made a touch necro in retaliation touch rangers. As it turns out it plays really well and is far superior to any touch ranger.

Touching with 18 in blood magic is fun.

I Dont understand how anyone can defend touch rangers, the build allows a totally unskilled player to wipe out almost any other player regardless of their skill level.
The answer is very simple, the touch spells should have been labelled as "spells" right from the beginning so they wouldnt have been affected by expertise, i dont understand why Anet made them into Skills in the first place, it just seems unnessary and it allows for loopholes like this to ruin the balance of the game.
I am a mesmer and as such i have a build that allows me to deal with them but surely we dont want to play a game were ur either a mesmer, necro or touch ranger?
Touch rangers are a cancer on the game and they must be NERFED!

A bad toucher can wipe out any bad player, yes. But FFS there are so many counters! What? A warrior can hardly kill a touch ranger 1v1? And then? Are warriors supposed to kill everything?

Try echo ss on the 2 touch rangers of the opposite team of RA/TA, or let a me do his job, or kite and make them useless, or use wards, or crippling, etc...

I have played a touch recently in RA. I've been facing touch as well. I never heard a touch saying stuff like "I pwned you noob", however I hear all the time bad players being like "noob touch", etc when they're killed because they didn't know what to do against a touch ranger.

I remember one time, I was trying to kill a monk with a poion/crippling ranger targetting me. I transfered all the conditions as soon as possible to the monk, hitting plague touch more often than the vamp skills. And the noob ranger kept going. My team killed the monk pretty easilly as he was crippled (thx to this ranger) and couldn't run. When I attacked the ranger, he used whirling defense against me, then throw dirt (soon transfered back to him), and tried to interupt offereing blood with distracting shot instead of vamp bite/touch. At the end he was like: "noob toucher, learn a real build, you don't even know how to play it". I didn't tell him I have 9M XP on my ranger, and how bad he was. But he was like half of the clueless newb in this part of the world. Toucher play differently and newbs don't understand that. So they try to beat them as they would with a melee fighter. And when they fail, they call the toucher a noob, and want a nerf.

I've been playing other builds in Aspenwood with my ranger that a warrior or a sin or an ele for example cannot defeat. And I'ms sure if many rangers used the same builds, there would be topics about that, with people asking for a nerf. However, I know a good degen Me or a SS can kill me pretty quickly. This game is not supposed to be balanced 1v1. Accept that.

No such thing as an experience W/Mo.. every halfway experienced player knows you must switch secondary profession to be effective.

Lololol wammo in PvP.Lololol.Thats why I made a toucher for PvP.And it also sounds like your saying wammos are the most invincible build. It's not. There are other things taht can kill one faster than a toucher. GG
